Your Responsibilities
As our Full Stack Developer, you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions across the full technology stack
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional, scalable, and maintainable software applications
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and usability, ensuring a seamless user experience
- Integrate front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless communication between servers and user interfaces
- Implement effective security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in full-stack development, incorporating them into our software solutions as appropriate
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, providing timely and effective solutions to support business operations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team
- Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or a similar capacity with Startups or SMEs
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of modern web development frameworks and libraries, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js for front-end and Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails for back-end
- Proficiency in programming languages, including JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP
- Experience with database systems, such as SQL, NoSQL, or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
- Strong understanding of web standards, such as HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs
- Experience implementing effective security and data protection measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse team members and stakeholders
- Experience in communicating ideas and decisions to a diverse team and clients
- Excellent people management and project management skills
- Experience in recruiting and leading engineering teams (5-10 engineers) across the full stack
- Familiarity with setting and monitoring KPIs and OKRs
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
