We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team and play a vital role in streamlining our processes and supporting our various ventures. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, and administration, enabling them to effectively support our teams in building and scaling successful ventures. Your Responsibilities
As our Operations Manager, you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and success
- Stay up-to-date with trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into our operations as appropriate
- Support the executive team in formulating and implementing business strategies aligned with our venture studio’s vision
- Assist in developing and implementing efficient processes and standards across all functions for both the Studio and its ventures
- Help drive customer service excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Maintain compliance with local and international laws, including data protection regulations
- Support the integration of technology solutions throughout the organization
- Assist in managing contracts and relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders
- Help assess risks and contribute to quality assurance efforts across the organization
- Support the optimization of expenses and budgeting to maximize cost-benefit ratios
- Foster a positive work environment, motivating teams for increased productivity and engagement
- Assist in reporting on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Support the monitoring and setting of KPIs and OKRs to track progress and drive success
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an Operations Manager role or a similar capacity within SMEs
- Solid knowledge of all business functions, including HR, finance, supply chain, and IT
- Experience implementing IT systems within an organization
- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision-making
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and decisions to diverse team members and clients
- Excellent people management and team-building abilities
- Demonstrated project management expertise
- Experience in setting and monitoring KPIs and OKRs
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Familiarity with essential tools and software, including project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Basecamp), data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), communication tools (e.g., Slack, Google Meet, Zoom), and office productivity suites (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace, Notion)
