We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Operations to join our team and play a pivotal role in the growth and expansion of our venture-building studio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, and administration, enabling them to support our teams in building and scaling successful ventures. Your Responsibilities
As our Head of Operations, you will:
- Lead cross-functional sessions, leveraging operational scope, research, and systems thinking to drive innovation and success
- Stay up-to-date with trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into our operations as appropriate
- Collaborate with the executive team to formulate and implement business strategies aligned with our venture studio’s vision
- Develop and implement efficient processes and standards across all functions for both the Studio and its ventures
- Drive customer service excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws, including data protection regulations
- Oversee the integration of technology solutions throughout the organization
- Manage contracts and relationships with customers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders
- Assess risks and lead quality assurance efforts across the organization
- Optimize expenses and budgeting to maximize cost-benefit ratios
- Mentor and motivate teams, fostering productivity and engagement
- Report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Monitor and set KPIs and OKRs to track progress and drive success
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a leadership role such as Head of Operations, Operations Director, or a similar capacity with Startups or other SMEs
- Comprehensive knowledge of all business functions, including HR, finance, supply chain, and IT
- Proven experience implementing IT systems within an organization
- Proficiency in data analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision-making
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and decisions to diverse team members and clients
- Exceptional people management and team-building abilities
- Demonstrated project management expertise
- Experience in setting and monitoring KPIs and OKRs
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Familiarity with essential tools and software, including project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Basecamp), data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), communication tools (e.g., Slack, Google Meet, Zoom), and office productivity suites (e.g. MS Office, Google Workspace, Notion)
